How to choose a shade

  • Decide on the effect first: understated, cool, warm or transformative.
  • Consider your natural eye colour — lighter eyes take pale shades more literally, deeper eyes soften them.
  • Each product page shows how the shade reads on different natural eye colours.

How to insert your lenses

  • Check the lens is right-side out before every wear, and always rinse it first.
  • Wash — wash and dry your hands thoroughly.
  • Balance — balance the lens on your right index fingertip.
  • Open — open the eye wide: left middle finger lifts the upper lid, right middle finger holds the lower lid.
  • Place — gently rest the lens directly on the pupil.
  • Settle — close the eye slowly and press the lid softly so the lens centres itself.

How to remove your lenses

  • Never pull the lens off — pinch and lift instead.
  • Wash — wash your hands before touching your eyes.
  • Open — open the eye wide with your fingers.
  • Pinch and lift — gently pinch the lens with your right thumb and index finger, and lift it away.
  • If the lens feels stuck, moisten your eye with lubricating drops first — never scrape or force it off.

How to clean and store your lenses

  • Replace the solution in the lens case every day after use — never top up old solution.
  • Even lenses approved for continuous wear should be cleaned daily.
  • Use a protein-removal solution at least once every two weeks to keep lenses clear and comfortable.
  • Store the lens only in proper, sterile lens solution — never use tap water.
  • Use only a cleaner, rinse or lubricant made for your lens material.

When lenses should not be worn

  • Do not wear the lens if you have an eye condition or a serious allergy to lens materials.
  • Do not use a lens from an opened or damaged package.
  • Do not share lenses with anyone else.
  • Keep the lens away from soap, shampoo, hairspray and cosmetics — apply makeup only after putting the lens in.
  • If your vision becomes unstable from overwork, poor sleep or long reading, remove the lens and rest your eyes.
  • Note any eye or general health condition and follow your ophthalmologist's guidance.

When to stop and seek advice

  • Stop wearing and consult a doctor if you feel severe pain or sense a foreign substance in the eye.
  • See a doctor promptly if you notice redness, pain or unusual sensitivity.
  • Use artificial tears or saline solution to relieve strain, and blink deliberately to restore natural vision.
  • Never scratch or damage the lens surface with your nail.
